Here are my top 5 reasons why you need to brand “YOU” as your personal brand.
When people say, “I want to build a personal brand,” the first thing they think about is numbers. Number of Twitter followers. Number of Facebook Likes. Number of blog subscribers.
Those are very poor metrics for building a meaningful personal brand.
Building a personal brand means providing so much value in one (or multiple) niche(s) that people begin to associate your name with the idea of what it means to be successful in that industry.
You can become a thought leader and an influencer. if your brand You as your personal brand.
Building a personal brand takes a lot of work, but if you are ready to dive in and here are five reason s need to brand you as your personal brand.

1. Brand yourself as your personal brand: Why is it important to market yourself?
People on social media buy from people they know like and trust so it's important to brand yourself not the product or company you work for. Especially if you're in an MLM. So many people think that their brand is the MLM company there with no you need to be understanding your brand you are branding you.
If you're in MLM you are not marketing the company. If are Real estate you are not marketing your realty company you are marketing you.
2. Understanding your brand: You must understand that your business and your brand is you.
People do business with people they know, like and trust. You must become that brand. You must realize everybody has a brand if you look at people like Oprah Winfrey, Elvis Presley, or FOX News they all have a brand, you have to realize what your brand is. So, if you're into health and wellness maybe you're going to make a post about health wellness. Also try adding encouraging post on Facebook to encourage healthy recipes, healthy living, maybe even great exercise tips. Remember people join people not companies. This might take a little time don't be broad be specific. If you're wanting to serve help young nursing mothers, target your post that solves their problems. Be specific of the person you want to attract men or women, busy women over 40.
3. Know your target market: When I first started my health coaching business I thought everyone was on my target market but no I thought everyone that was overweight wanted my help with was not the case.
I had to be specific on who you want to attract. I thought everyone was my target market I had to be specific on who I want to do attract I want to do the track to someone like me I wanted to attract a 50 something sales professional lady that needed more, wanted to lose her belly fat and get rid of her menopause problems.
When I did that I started attracting the right buyer to me. Think about it and write it down even give that person a name. You must know where they shop what magazines they read how much money they make and what there will pains are so you can solve them. Understanding and identifying your target market is key for developing you as your personal brand.
Who are they how old are they. Where do they shop. Where do they eat? Be laser focused on understanding who you're serving you will be able to attract the right person to you. You look at an overweight person and you think that sure target person, right? NOT Your target person is someone that is looking for a solution to their problem. One of my favorite quotes is from Amy Porterfield “The riches are in the niches”. The more specific, you can be the better off you are in the long run.
4. How do you get specific on who your ideal customers? Sit down and make a list of who they are what are their pains and what are their names this one by far lead you in the right direction to attract the right person to you.
For me my target market was me. I tired worn out corporate sales rep that was looking for a better way. A better way to lose that extra weight like that and to get there and, I was tired of working for someone else and their company instead of developing a company for myself.
Trust me I was used to making six figures but I wanted to make seven if you know what I mean. But I had to drive in the meditation but they just needed to know how to find the solution which was me.
I knew this person was not a negative person I knew she wanted to live in abundance she was looking for the right solutions to her problems which was more energy better health and to be able to have a healthy way to lose weight without spending hours at the gym. AK: me
5. Spot light yourself: Our personal brand are in the spotlight every day for everyone to see online.
You need to ask are you putting your best foot forward? Maybe it’s time for some personal branding. If you don’t brand yourself, someone else will, and the outcome might not be so favorable. Branding yourself keeps you current in your field, opens doors for you, and creates a lasting impression on potential and existing clients.
By developing your own brand, you’ll have control over the initial perception people have of you. What is it that you want to be known for? Personal branding is how we define ourselves in the work space while also incorporating the personal elements that make us who we are. You should brand you as your personal brand so brand YOU as your personal brand.

Short or tall, big or small your best brand is you. Often it is easier to hide behind a company brand or logo. I can't believe it being successful is being yourself you have a voice that needs to be heard so step out of your box and brand yourself.
